What is the “Hour of Trial” (or “testing”) “that is going to come upon the Whole Earth” in Revelation 10:3?
Jesus told the Church of Philadelphia:

The “hour of trial” can not be Great Tribulation because Matthew 24:15-22 and Daniel 11:31-34 both identify this tribulation to be for only believers and not the “whole world.”
► Can Not be 1st – 5th Seals
The “hour of trial” can not be the 1st – 4th Seals because Revelation 6:8 says “a 4th part of the earth.”
The “hour of trial” can not be the 5th Seal because this is where the “Brothers” are “killed” to “complete” the “number” (144,000). This is the Great Tribulation!

The “hour of trial” can not be the 1st – 6th Trumpets because these plagues or curses only happen to 1/3 of the earth or humankind.

I was raised in an environment that taught pretribulation rapture growing up. Now in my 30s and reading/studying the Bible on my own, I’ve come to be very firm in my belief that the body of Christ will be here for the tribulation. That message is very clear to me in scripture. By only reading the Bible and not following “such-and-suches” YouTube channel, it’s amazing to me that I’ve come across this. It’s the same conclusion I have arrived at without ever even met you. God is good. The message is clear when it comes from scripture.
JACOB’S TROUBLE: Jacob = Israel, Trouble= Tribulation (Jeremiah 30:7 ) 70th Week”(Daniel 9).
Your theory contradicts a key biblical principle. The bible tells us the Christians are saved by faith, and walk by faith so what should they be tried for?? Jews on the other hand require a sign. 1 Corinthians 1:22.
Scripture abounds in promises that Israel will be brought into a time of purging to prepare them as a nation for the millennium to follow the advent of Messiah.
The name Jacob’s Trouble was given to this time period, in that Jacob is also known as Israel who is going to go through this time period because they have rejected Jesus their Messiah.
Tribulationist views require the church to be present during the 70th week of Daniel (Dan. 9:24-27) even though it was absent from the first 69. This is in spite of the fact that Daniel 9:24 says that all 70 weeks are for Israel. The pre-tribulationist view though does not conflict with this since the church departs before the beginning of the seven-year period.
Romans 11:11 reads “I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
So he’s saying the Jews stumbled, not that they should fall, they will be saved, but because they stumbled, salvation came to the Gentiles also, in order for the Jews to be provoked to jealousy.
What’s going to make the Jews jealous in the time of Jacob’s tribulation? Seeing millions of Christians worldwide having family members getting their heads chopped off, starving, and constantly on the run to avoid the mark of the beast? Seriously?
There is no need for Bible believing Christians to be tested because they have been declared righteous by virtue of the atoning work of Jesus Christ. This period can not have reference to the church for the true church of Jesus does not need to be tested to see if her faith is genuine
There are today in the world over 2 billion people who call themselves Christians. Even If just in the tens of millions of Christians are going to be killed under the reign of Antichrist, can it possibly be said that God has preserved them through the hour of trial ? Just because a tiny part that will have survived up to that point will escape the cosmic events the follow they have been kept from trial? Ludicrous!!
The deliverance of the righteous is another principle that runs rampant throughout Scripture. If the church were to suffer through the Great Tribulation, this principle would be violated.
Furthermore people will be eating, drinking, getting married, and living life exactly like our day, but there will still be a sense of normalcy and complacency. People will simply be caught unaware. How can this even be a plausible picture when tens of millions of Christians are being hunted down like rabid dogs and being killed all over the world ? It does not make any sense.

The reason it doesnt make sense to you is b/c you believe in a pretribulation rapture which unbiblical. The 2 witnessea are the 2 Olive trees (House of Judah & Isreal believers) & the 2 Lampstands are 2 of the 7 churches (Smyrna & Philadelphia). The Smyrna (the suffering church) are Martyred during the Great trib & the Philadelphia (the faithful church) are the ones still alive and endured til the end. The Caught Up/Rapture of the martyred (Smyrna) happens at the 6th Seal in Rev 6:12 and the still alive (Philadelphia) happens at the 7th trumpet. We the Body Of CHRIST are the 2 witnesses. Once the nonbeliever jews (and others) see us caught up, they will know Jesus is their Messiah and will repent. Then the wrath of GOD happens on earth to all who are left.
The bodies of the 2 witnesses are dieing through the AC and they lay in the streets of Jerusalem for 3 1/2 days, then resurrected and raptured at the great earthquake, the same as in Rev 6:12, when the 7th trumpet sounds (Rev 11:15-18) and the 7th vial is poured out (Rev 16:15-20), all this events are at His parousia, His advent, return, 2.coming. Rev is not written in sequence. The 7th seal is a repeating of the events of seal 1-6 with more details of the Great Tribulation. Rev 6:12-17 are His 2.coming, with the wrath of God, the same as Mat 24:29-31 with th Rapture at His 2.coming.
Nope. The two witnesses are Holy spirit and Word. Don’t fight that. You can’t. Bible is clear about. Please do the research not listen to modrrn preachers who repeat those theories. Israel = wirldwide church. While there is no pretribulation rapture, there are two churches in the end time: philadelphia ( brotherly/ sisterly lovee) and luke warm church. Those in the former, who understand law is not filled without love, might be saved from the hour of trial ( the theory of original writer is pretty good). As far as Daniel’s 70th week – it was finished by stoning of stephen who saw Christ before his death 3,5 years post golgotha. So no a separate future 7 year period when an antichrist sit at jerusalem third temple as the ignorant claim . Antichrist seated a long ago in christian churches in a form of papacy.
The two witnesses cannot possibly be the Holy Spirit and the Word because of Revelation 11:1-14 where it says:
“And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And THEIR DEAD BODIES SHALL LIE IN THE STREET of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
