9 They sang a new song, saying, “You are worthy to take the book, And to open its seals: For you were killed, And bought us for God with your blood, Out of every tribe, language, people, and nation,
10 And made them kings and priests to our God, And they reign on earth.”

➥ Revelation 20:4-6
4 Then I saw THRONES, and seated on them were those to whom the AUTHORITY to JUDGE was committed. Also, I saw the souls of those who had been BEHEADED for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and REIGNED with Christ for a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be PRIESTS of God and of Christ, and they will REIGN with him for a thousand years.

  1. Eminah uriah Ikaebinyu says:

What is the meaning of the white Garment and white candle ?

    1. chinaza ogbaji says:

White garment means Holiness. Garment represent character and our character supposed to be purified by the word of God. Zacharias 3. White candle means light of God. Judging righteously without oppressing the weak. Isaiah 58 v4-6 said that when we do so and do good to others , our light will shine in darkness and our righteousness will go before us. We lighten the world by showing them love of God, sharing the word of truth with them.

  2. The Bible is God’s words for us. When our Lord mentions that He saves those who are born-again, He meant every word of it. He is not a man that He should lie. The promises and declarations are clearly there to assure us that the salvation He offers is an eternal salvation, and does not depend upon our “feelings”, or “situations”. John 3:16 if quite famous, in it He said to us… “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”.
Did our Lord mean what He said? Sure! Once He says something, it will be forever. Thus He also said that “Heaven and earth would pass away but my word shall not pass away.”.
Combing just these 2 verses would cement the deal, and those who truly have been born again need not fear of death, as Jesus never once lied.
So once you are truly saved, you become a part of His Body, the Church, and no one can take you of of His body (John 10:28-30). He means what He says, and there is no denying that even during His brief stay on earth, He never sinned nor lie. His word is true. John 6:63.

Hope this eliminates your concerns about salvation – it’s just concerning that some people doubt what God stated.

    1. Amen!
Define born again please so one’s will understand and follow through what needed to be done to be saved.

      1. Read:

Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Acts 2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

What are the 5 stages of salvation?
Faith, 2. Repentance, 3. Water Baptism, 4. Spirit Infilling, 5. Continuance

  3. Junior-chilekwa says:

    Very-interesting-topic-GOD-bless,you

  4. Corrie van wyk says:

I have just started this study now, what I see so far is the idea of once saved always saved is a mith, because 5 churches, not sinners are destroyed

    1. You are quite right. We can lose our call if we do not strive to make it permanent. Both Paul and Peter say this in their teaching. They use words like; run as to win, make you election permanent, the Devil is seeking souls to devour so keep strong in you faith. None of this would be necessary if we could not be pulled away and lose our salvation. We have to have a living faith, one that we guard and Work on. Faith is a gift, but it we fail to use it, to exercise is, to pray for it, to avoid temptation, to confess our sins, and to carry on the work of mercy Christ called us to do, then we can be lost.

    2. God is not a man that He should lie. When He says and commits that we shall never perish (John 10:28-3)) and that no one shall pluck us out of His Hands, I barely can absorb immutable promises of God. If God changes His thoughts and His ways, how can we trust Him, if we even doubt His Words. (John 6:63). He never sinned, He never lied, He died for you and me (for the entire world), and His truth is absolute regardless of people’s feelings and orientations. That is the God whom we serve. Unwavering, immutable in all His declarations. If being saved forever is offensive to you, what can of salvation is that – based on our feelings our salvation will perish? That’s not the true God. Remember in the book of Hebrews it also says He is the same yesterday, today and forever. There is absolutely no reason to doubt God. If we doubt Him, what assurance do we have that what He says is true? The burden of proof is not on God but on embracing God’s immutable (unchanging words).

It would be folly to believe “saved today”, “lost tomorrow”, and “hope to die on the right day”. That is not God. That is mere men playing Russian Roulette with their sould and eternal destiny. Imagine if what God says is not true? Where would we end up after death? If we reason as men, then there is no hope at all.

If only in this life we have hope, we are of all men most miserable (look it up 1 Corinthians)

      God said it.
      I believe it.
      That settles it.

For who am I, a sinner saved by grace, to question and to disbelieve what Jesus our Lord has done for us? Can anyone on his own merit guarantee that he can save himself? Hebrews 9:27 “as it is appointed for men once to die, then after that the judgment”. Where will you be when the certainty of that scenario of death appears before you? What can you hold on to? Only God’s words taken and believed as-is guarantees the sinner the sure promises of God.

Cheers! Open our eyes to the immutable words of God.
