5 When he opened the 3rd Seal,
I heard the third living creature say, “Come!”
& I looked, and behold, a black horse!
& its rider had a pair of scales in his hand.
6 & I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying,
“A quart of wheat for a days wage & three quarts of barley for a days wage,
& do not harm the oil and wine!”

The Rider of the 3rd Seal uses scales to measure out a food ration.
“A days wage” will get you either  “a quart of wheat” or “3 quarts of barley.”
Will that be enough to feed your family?
Famine & hunger will dominate the earth eventually Killing “1/4” of its population in part by “famine” described in the 4th Seal at Revelation 6:8!

Its rider was named DEATH,
& HADES was following close behind him.
They were given POWER over a ¼ of the EARTH
to KILL by SWORD (2nd Seal), FAMINE (3rd Seal) & PLAGUE,
& by the WILD BEAST of the EARTH.

When He opened the 2nd SEAL,
I heard the second living creature saying, “Come and see.”
Another horse, FIERY RED, went out.
& it was granted to the one who sat on it
to TAKE PEACE from the EARTH,
& that people should kill one another;
& there was given to him a GREAT SWORD.

When He opened the 3rd SEAL,

& he who sat on it had a pair of SCALES in his hand.
