The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are God’s curses for disobedience on a global scale. We first see the four horsemen in the Blessings and the Curses in Deuteronomy 32:23-25 and Leviticus 26:21-26, where God punishes his disobedient people for breaking the covenant.
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse appear when the Lamb opens the first four seals in Revelation 6. Each horseman represents a form of judgment released upon the earth.

• The White Horse represents the conquering King.
• The Red Horse represents war.
• The Black Horse represents famine and expensive food.
• The Pale Horse represents depopulation of a quarter of the earth through sword, famine, pestilence, and wild beasts.
