Scriptural Reasons Why the 7 Trumpets DO NOT OCCUR AFTER the 7 Seals.

Scriptural Reasons Why the 7 Trumpets DO NOT OCCUR AFTER the 7 Seals.

The Seven Seals Appear in Revelation Chapter 4-8 followed by the 7 Trumpets in Revelation Chapter 8-11.
Does this mean these events will occur in the order they chronologically appear?
A careful examination of the 6th Seal in chapter 6 & 7 presents many reasons why the 7 Trumpets will not occur after the 7 Seals.

4 Scriptural reasons why the 7 Trumpets DO NOT COME AFTER the 7 Seals:

1) Does it make sense that the Burning & Destruction of the 7 Trumpets will COME AFTER the 6th Seal RESTORATION Language in Revelation 7:16-17?

Can the complete destruction in the 7 trumpets come after the 6th Seal where God says at Revelation 7:16-17,
“They shall hunger no more,
neither thirst any more;
the sun shall not strike them,
nor any scorching heat.
For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd,
and he will guide them to springs of living water,
and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”???

Can the destruction of the 7 Trumpets occur after this beautiful language of RESTORATION?
Is not this language at Revelation 7:16-17, the START of the 1,000 year reign?
It is obvious the 7 Trumpets will not follow this beautiful restoration language or the start of the 1,000 year reign!

2) Does it make sense for God bring the 7 Vials of Wrath TWICE???

If one places the 7 Trumpets after the 7 Seals, Wrath would mistakenly have to occur 2 times!
The First time wrath occurs in the 6th Seal at Revelation 6:17, “the great day of their wrath has come.”
If the 7 Trumpets were to come after the 7 Seals, Wrath would have to reoccur a Second time in the 7th Trumpet at Revelation 11:18, where it says, “but your wrath came.”
The 7 Vials of Wrath should only occur once and not twice. This is another reason why the 7 Trumpets do not occur after the 7 Seals in the chronological order Revelation appears.
SOLUTION:
Better to align or connect Wrath in the 7 Seals to Wrath in the 7 Trumpets. Then the 7 Vials of wrath only occurs once!

3) How could God unleash the tribulation of the 7 Trumpets AFTER the “Great Multitude” comes out of the great tribulation?”

In the 6th Seal God tells us of the “Great Multitude” at Revelation 7:14.
“These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation.”
Does it make sense for God to put the”Great Multitude” BACK AGAIN in to the massive tribulation of the 7 Trumpets when they just came “out of the great tribulation?
The great tribulation will not happen twice as well as the 7 vials of wrath will not happen twice!
SOLUTION: What the 7 Seals, 7 Trumpets and 7 Vials of Wrath all have in common is WRATH! Try aligning the WRATH in the 6th Seal to the WRATH of the 7th Trumpets to the & Vials of WRATH.
This connection makes the Great Tribulation as well as the 7 Vials of Wrath only occur ONCE.

4) Can the 7 Trumpets COME AFTER “Salvation” of Revelation 7:9?

The 6th Seal Starts at Revelation 6:12 and ends at Revelation 7:17. The 7th Trumpets then sounds in Chapter 8.
The 6th Seal is not only the time of Wrath but after, the time of Salvation!
Revelation 7:9-10 says:
“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
Does it make sense for God to give the “Great multitude” “Salvation” then to put them through the burning & destruction of the 7 Trumpets

SOLUTION: What the 7 Seals, 7 Trumpets and 7 Vials of Wrath all have in common is WRATH!
Try to connect all 3 timelines by aligning or connecting WRATH.
Try aligning the WRATH in the 6th Seal to the WRATH of the 7th Trumpets to the & Vials of WRATH.
This connection makes the Great Tribulation as well as the 7 Vials of Wrath only occur ONCE.

To help reinforce the multi-overview structure of the Book of Revelation and the very sequential nature of the Seals Trumpets then Bowls being progressively and telescopically unveiled, please note the 4 x the 7th Bowl is referenced.
    1) At 6:14 after an overview of the 6-Seals.
    2) At 8:5b after introducing 7 Angels with the 7-Trumpets in heaven.
    3) At 11:19 after the sounding of the 7th-Trumpet (our resurrection/rapture Tishri-1). The Ark of the covenant is only seen on Tishri-10=Great day of Atonement as the “10 days of Awe” after the 6-Bowls of God`s final wrath from Tishri-1 to 10. When the Lord return Tishri-10th it is at the 7th-Bowl happenings.
    4) At the well-known text of 16:17-21 after the 6-bowls themselves (all 7-Bowls come out after the sounding of the 7th Trumpet).
Obviously, the Book of revelation is not strictly chronological at all and even if you work your way around the above, how do you understand the many references to the 2nd advent sprinkled throughout the whole book as being chronological? The literary masterpiece of the Revelations is not like television with many commercial breaks between progressive narrative instalments. It gives many overviews, themselves strictly chronological, usually from some point to the second coming or other end-time related event. Then returns to a previous point in time and works chronologically forward with various subject matter to an end-time event once again, then again, and again and again… and again.
Hence, all arguments in the article above are muted by the very multi-overviewed structure of the Book itself.
The 7th-Seal gives birth to the 7-Trumpets
The 7th-Trumpet gives birth to the 7-Bowls
The 7th-Bowl gives birth to The Glorious return of The Lord
The return of the Lord to Earth gives joyful birth to the full establishment of His world-wide kingdom rule, being Tishri-10th of the coming Great Golden Jubilee year of His Jubilee calendar.
After initial birth pains that are the 4-horsemen and then comes sudden increasing labour pains of the mid-point 5th-Seal to the sounding of the 7th-Trumpet Tishri-1 which is our Rapture and/or resurrection BEFORE the last birthing pains of Delivery itself of a 10-day, birth canal pains of the 7-Bowls for which we are not here but have entered our millennial rest at Tishri-1. The 1st day of God`s millennial calendar from creation day-1 Tishri-1.
We are not appointed unto any wrath during The Day Of The Lord and The Day Of The Lord is exactly 1,000 Solar years from the sounding of the 7th-Trumpet, Tishri-1. The mystery of God is accumplished.

  2. Greetings from Australia.
Above you have stated that “The 6th Seal Starts at Revelation 6:12 and ends at Revelation 7:17.”
Here is one of the major problems for your mostly good reading of the Book of Revelation. For the 6th Seal does indeed start at 6:12, BUT ends at 6:13. Verse 14 takes then takes us forward to the 2nd Advent as the sky recedes like a scroll, being parallel with Rev 19:11 that is also a 2nd Advent event. The end of 6:13 gives you a description of the 7th bowl that is synchronous with the Lord Himself returning to the earth (Tishri 10). Verses 15-17 then fill out further events on that Great and Glorious/Dreadful 24-hour day of The Lord. It is the 1st day of a great jubilee year and also the 1st day of God`s 1,000-year kingdom according to His (mostly lost) jubilee calendar.
Then comes Ch 7`s 144,000 + great multitude and 8:1 then picks up where 6:13 finished to fill in the GAP between Seal 6 and the 7th Bowl. Namely the 7 Trumpets that are the 7th Seal and the 7 Bowls are the 7th Trumpet. Telescopic and chronological but obviously the text is not strictly chronological in its entirety nor even in mega sections.
I have found that the first 4 Seals are in the 1st half of Daniel`s soon coming 70th. That the 5th Seal is right in the middle as Antichrist appears at the time Satan is cast out of heaven. Satan cast to earth and Antichrist being revealed and empowered is the judgement of the 5th Seal but what we see in Rev 6:9-11 is the result in regards to God`s people, martyred but clothed in heaven under the alter in “wedding clothes” sometime near the end of the 7-year Trib before the rest of their full number have arrived. I believe that they are seen, here in Rev 6 just before the sounding of the 7th Trumpet when occurs the Rapture followed immediately by the 7 Bowls of God`s wrath.
The Rapture is on Tishri 1, the 1st day on His creation calendar and 1st day of the last 1,000-years of Sabbath rest of His 7,000-year great week.
The 5th Seal in right in the middle of the last 7-years of earths literal 6,000-year history and is followed soon after by the 6th Seal just 3.5-days later being equal to the earthquake that splits Jerusalem at the post-midweek resurrection of the 2-witnesses. Thus the 6 trumpets soon follow and take up almost all of the 2nd half of the “week” with the 7th Trumpet ending it on Tishri 1.
Yes, all of the Seals, Trumpets and Bowls are the WRATH of God form beginning to end. But we are promised exemption only from the wrath that occurs on the Day of The Lord. The Day of the Lord is 1,000-years and this does not include wrath of the Seals and trumpets but only of the 7 Bowls that are the contents of the 7th Trumpet that signals our resurrection/rapture to the Fathers heavenly house to be judged, rewarded and fully married to return with our king/Messiah as His Queen/wife to the earth after a 10-day absence. The great Messianic banquet is Tabernacles 15-22 the week-long wedding supper/reception of the Lamb on earth to which all earth dwellers left behind after the Rapture are invited to as quests of the returning Bride and Groom.
Not sure, but maybe the 144,000 are groomsmen/priests (after the Rapture) such as John the Baptist was?
    Shalom Glen
