Isaiah 60 (WEB) Full Chapter
Isaiah 60 – Future Restoration of New Jerusalem & the Great Multitude after the Great Tribulation!
The much longer story of New Jerusalem at Revelation 21:24-26 is contained in part in Isaiah 60!
➥ Revelation 21:24-26
24 By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it,
25 and its gates will never be shut by day–and there will be no night there.
26 They will bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations.
All Nations will come to the light of New Jerusalem in Isaiah 60:3! NOT Jerusalem in the middle east which God refers to as “Sodom & Egypt” in Rev 8:11!
Isaiah 60:1-22
New Jerusalem & the Great Multitude after the Great Tribulation!
1 Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.
2 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the LORD will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.
3 And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.
4 Lift up your eyes all around, and see; they all gather together, they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be carried on the hip.
5 Then you shall see and be radiant; your heart shall thrill and exult, because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the nations shall come to you.
6 A multitude of camels shall cover you, the young camels of Midian and Ephah; all those from Sheba shall come. They shall bring gold and frankincense, and shall bring good news, the praises of the LORD.
7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered to you; the rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; they shall come up with acceptance on my altar, and I will beautify my beautiful house.
8 Who are these that fly like a cloud, and like doves to their windows?
9 For the coastlands shall hope for me, the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your children from afar, their silver and gold with them, for the name of the LORD your God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he has made you beautiful.
10 Foreigners shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister to you; for in my wrath I struck you, but in my favor I have had mercy on you.
11 Your gates shall be open continually; day and night they shall not be shut, that people may bring to you the wealth of the nations, with their kings led in procession.
12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; those nations shall be utterly laid waste.
13 The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the cypress, the plane, and the pine, to beautify the place of my sanctuary, and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
14 The sons of those who afflicted you shall come bending low to you, and all who despised you shall bow down at your feet; they shall call you the City of the LORD, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
15 Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, with no one passing through, I will make you majestic forever, a joy from age to age.
16 You shall suck the milk of nations; you shall nurse at the breast of kings; and you shall know that I, the LORD, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
17 Instead of bronze I will bring gold, and instead of iron I will bring silver; instead of wood, bronze, instead of stones, iron. I will make your overseers peace and your taskmasters righteousness.
18 Violence shall no more be heard in your land, devastation or destruction within your borders; you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.
19 The sun shall be no more your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give you light; but the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.
20 Your sun shall no more go down, nor your moon withdraw itself; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your days of mourning shall be ended.
21 Your people shall all be righteous; they shall possess the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I might be glorified.
22 The least one shall become a clan, and the smallest one a mighty nation; I am the LORD; in its time I will hasten it.

God’s Interpretation of the Book of Revelation can only be found through His Biblical Prophets & His Torah (1st 5 books of the Bible)!
Consider: 2 Pet 1:19-21, Rev 10:7, 1 Cor 14:32 & Matt 24:45-47 (Listed below).
Did you know 95% of the Book of Revelation comes from God’s Torah & the Biblical Prophets?

Stop listening to man and start seeking God’s Interpretation of Revelation found in His words through His Torah & Biblical Prophets!
➥ 2 Peter 1:19-21
“And we have the 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to 𝐩𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, 20 knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. 21 For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”
➥ Revelation 10:7
“but that in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the 7th angel, the Mystery of God would be fulfilled, 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐬.”
➥ 1 Corinthians 14:32

Once a Believer can tap into the Biblical Prophets, as God directs, this also opens the door to providing the “food in due season” Jesus spoke about at Matthew 24:45-47.
➥ Matthew 24:45-47
“Who then is a faithful & wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will him doing so. assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods.”
➥ What is the “food in due season” for the Beginning of Birth Pains / 4 Horsemen?
➥ What is the “food in due season” for the 1st Trumpet?
➥ What is the “food in due season” during the 7 Bowls of Wrath?
➥ What is the “food in due season” for every event in the Book of Revelation?
𝐓𝐡𝐞 “𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐮𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧” 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐥, 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭 & 𝐁𝐨𝐰𝐥 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐬! We must allow “interpretations to belong to god.” Genesis 40:8. We must allow the “food in due season” to come from His Words through the Biblical Prophets. We must “pay attention” to the “prophets” “until the morning star rises in your hearts.” Otherwise, you are subject to man’s warped interpretation & his poisonous food.
Listen to God by means of His Words & His Words only & avoid man’s thinking & interpretation like the plague! May you be found giving “Food in Due Season” during each season of the 7 Seals, 7 Trumpets & 7 Bowls!” Jesus says, “Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that He will make him ruler over all his goods.” Matt 24:47

The 1st Trumpet of Revelation 8:7 describes massive global forest fires burning 1/3rd of earth’s trees and even larger global harvest fails. These global vegetation losses will continue to increase sending global food prices soaring! God tells us exactly how expensive food will get in the 3rd Seal Black Horse at
Revelation 6:6 NLT, “A loaf of wheat bread or three loaves of barley will cost a day’s pay.” That is a lot of work for a little food! It is the 1st Trumpet of Revelation global vegetation loss that cause & produce 3rd Seal hunger & famines. God tells believers exactly how bad the hunger & famines will get in the 4th Seal at Revelation 6:8 NLT where “Death & Hades” “were given authority over one-fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword and famine and disease and wild animals.”
Soon God’s 4 Horsemen will ride killing 1/4 of Earth’s population! At Matthew 24:7-8, Christ called this time, “the Beginning of birth Pains” or “Sorrows.” Better repent or you will very soon find yourself a target of God’s arrow’s of “sword,” “famine,” “pestilence,” & “wild beasts” of the 4 Horsemen! (Deut 32:23-25, Eze 5:16-17).

YHWH’s Glory Rises on New Jerusalem!
1 “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.
Wealth of Kings & Nations Brought to New Jerusalem!
3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
4 “Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the hip.
5 Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come.
6 Herds of camels will cover your land, young camels of Midian and Ephah. And all from Sheba will come, bearing gold and incense and proclaiming the praise of the LORD.
7 All Kedar’s flocks will be gathered to you, the rams of Nebaioth will serve you; they will be accepted as offerings on my altar, and I will adorn my glorious temple.
8 “Who are these that fly along like clouds, like doves to their nests?
9 Surely the islands look to me; in the lead are the ships of Tarshish, bringing your children from afar, with their silver and gold, to the honor of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor.
10 “Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you. Though in anger I struck you, in favor I will show you compassion.
11 Your gates will always stand open, they will never be shut, day or night, so that people may bring you the wealth of the nations— their kings led in triumphal procession.
12 For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish; it will be utterly ruined.
13 “The glory of Lebanon will come to you, the juniper, the fir and the cypress together, to adorn my sanctuary; and I will glorify the place for my feet.
14 The children of your oppressors will come bowing before you; all who despise you will bow down at your feet and will call you the City of the LORD, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
15 “Although you have been forsaken and hated, with no one traveling through, I will make you the everlasting pride and the joy of all generations.
16 You will drink the milk of nations and be nursed at royal breasts. Then you will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
17 Instead of bronze I will bring you gold, and silver in place of iron. Instead of wood I will bring you bronze, and iron in place of stones. I will make peace your governor and well-being your ruler.
18 No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders, but you will call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.
19 The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.
20 Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.

Isaiah 60 is such a beautiful chapter filled with hope and promise. The call to ‘Arise, shine’ feels deeply personal, yet it’s also a powerful vision of restoration for God’s people. The imagery of light overcoming darkness and nations being drawn to that light reminds me of how God’s glory transforms not just individuals but entire communities. It’s a reminder that even in seasons of despair, God’s promises still stand strong
