Understanding Isaiah 61 Through the Book of Revelation!

In Isaiah 61, the prophet unfolds a two-phase fulfillment moving from Christ’s first coming to His second, where He restores the “Great Multitude” overcomers / survivors from the “Great Tribulation” on the “new earth” and His 144,000 “kingdom of priests” who make up the “new heavens”

5 Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and foreigners shall be your plowmen and your vine-dressers.
6 But you shall be named the priests of Yahweh; men shall call you the ministers of our God: you shall eat the wealth of the nations, and in their glory shall you boast yourselves.

29 The people of the land have practiced extortion and committed robbery. They have oppressed the poor and needy, and have extorted from the sojourner without justice. 30 And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none. 31 Therefore I have poured out my indignation upon them. I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath. I have returned their way upon their heads, declares the Lord God.”
