Understanding Isaiah 34 Through the Book of Revelation!

Isaiah 34 and the Book of Revelation are connected prophetic texts that describe the events surrounding the Battle of Armageddon and the final judgment of Babylon the Great. Isaiah 34 shows the connectivity between the 6th Bowl of Wrath Battle of Armageddon described in Isaiah 34:1–8 and the next event in the 7th Bowl of Wrath, where Babylon the Great is judged and destroyed by fire in Isaiah 34:9–17.

In the battle of Armageddon, in the 6th Bowl of Wrath, God destroys the nations as he takes over rulership of the earth. 2 For Yahweh has indignation against all the nations, and wrath against all their host: he has utterly destroyed them, he has delivered them to the slaughter.

3 Their slain also shall be cast out, and the stench of their dead bodies shall come up; and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
4 All the host of the sky shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll; and all their host shall fade away, as the leaf fades from off the vine, and as a fading [leaf] from the fig tree.

Isaiah 34:9-17
God describes the complete judgment & destruction of Babylon the Great (Edom) which occurs in the 7th and final Bowl of Wrath!

9 The streams of [Edom] shall be turned into pitch, and the dust of it into sulfur, and the land of it shall become burning pitch.
