14 “And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: ‘The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation.
15 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! 16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. 17 For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.
19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. 21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”

The Goal of Revelation & Works:
➥ The GOAL for ALL Believers presented in the Book of Revelation is to “OVERCOME” or “CONQUER.”
Christ presents this GOAL to all 7 Churches in Revelation Chapters 2 & 3 at Rev 2:7, 11, 17, 26, 3:5, 12, 21, 5:5, 6:2, 11:7, 12:11, 13:7, 15:2, 17:14, 21:7.
“WORKS” is one of several main factors Christ uses to make His judgment whether or not a believer “overcomes” or “conquers.”
➥ Christ mentions “works” 11 times to 5 of the 7 Churches at Rev 2:2, 5-6, 19, 22-23, 26, 3:1, 2, 8 & 15. Revelation goes on to mention “works” an additional 8 times at Rev 9:20, 14:3, 15:3, 16:11, 18:6, 20:12-13, 22:12.
According to Strong’s G2041, the Greek word for “works,””Ergon,” appears 176 times and is translated work (152x), deed (22x), doing (1x), labour (1x).
“Ergon” appears 19 times in Revelation!
Ranges or Scales of Works
Christ presents scales of “works” in His letters to the 7 Churches ranging from High to Low, Hot or Cold & Complete to Incomplete.
For Example:
➥ HIGH & Approved “works” is attributed to Philadelphia. (Rev 3:8,11)
➥ Lukewarm “works” in the MIDDLE of Hot & Cold meant Laodicea failed to meet Jesus standard to “overcome” or “conquer.” Jesus’ consequences for “Lukewarm” “works” is, “I will spit you out of my mouth.” Rev 3:16
➥ LOW and incomplete “works” for Sardis also meant personal destruction by Jesus. (Rev 3:2-3)
➥ Ephesus “works” had “fallen” from their “1st” “Love” or “1st” “works” at Rev 2:4-5 & Thyatira’s “latter works exceed the first” at Rev 2:19.

➥ Sardis – Rev 3:1
“‘I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God.”
“LUKEWARM” “WORKS”
➥ Laodicea – Rev 3:15-16 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot!” 16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.
“WORKS EXCEED the 1st”
➥ Thyatira – “Works” mentioned 3 times!
Rev: 2:19, “your latter works exceed the first.” (Although Thyatira’s “latter works exceeded the first”, they were disqualified to “overcome of “conquer” because of tolerating the false prophetess Jezebel, “eating foods sacrificed to idols” & “sexual immorality at Rev 2:20-23.”)
Rev 2:23, “I will give to each of you according to your works.”
Rev 2:26-29, Reward for Keeping Jesus’ works until the end!

Expect increasing scorching heat, drought, dried up rivers / lakes, forest fires, crop losses, famines, energy blackouts, supply chain disruptions, floods, civil unrest & skyrocketing food & energy prices!
𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝟰 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻!
The 1st Trumpet of Revelation 8:7 describes massive global forest fires burning 1/3rd of earth’s trees and even larger global harvest fails. These global vegetation losses will continue to increase sending global food prices soaring! God tells us exactly how expensive food will get in the 3rd Seal Black Horse at Revelation 6:6 NLT, “A loaf of wheat bread or three loaves of barley will cost a day’s pay.”
That is a lot of work for a little food! It is the 1st Trumpet of Revelation global vegetation loss that cause & produce 3rd Seal hunger & famines. God tells believers exactly how bad the hunger & famines will get in the 4th Seal at Revelation 6:8 NLT where “Death & Hades” “were given authority over one-fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword and famine and disease and wild animals.”
Soon God’s 4 Horsemen will ride killing 1/4 of Earth’s population! At Matthew 24:7-8, Christ called this time, “the Beginning of birth Pains” or “Sorrows.” Better repent or you will very soon find yourself a target of God’s arrow’s of “sword,” “famine,” “pestilence,” & “wild beasts” of the 4 Horsemen! (Deut 32:23-25, Eze 5:16-17).
