The Fall of Babylon the Great in Revelation 17, Revelation 18, and Revelation 19 reveals God’s final judgment against the great prostitute, the corrupt power seated on many waters and joined to the kings of the earth. Revelation 17 identifies Babylon’s relationship with the Beast, her abominations, and her bloodguilt against the saints; Revelation 18 announces, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great,” as kings, merchants, and seafarers mourn her sudden destruction; and Revelation 19 opens with heaven’s Hallelujah over God’s true and righteous judgment. 1 After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was made bright with his glory.

She has become a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast.

Shipmasters, Seafaring men and all who Trade on the Sea Wept and Mourned over Babylon’s Judgment!

What does it mean to Flee out of Babylon? (Revelation 18:4)
God’s 2 Different Calls to come out Babylon:

  1. Before Babylon is destroyed, God calls his people to come out of her sinful practices so you don’t get judged and destroyed with her at Revelation 18:4, Jeremiah 51:5-6 and Isaiah 52:11
  2. After Babylon is judged and destroyed, God calls His people to physically leave Babylon and to return home at Isaiah 48:20, Jeremiah 51:46 and Zechariah 2:6-7.

What does Babylon’s Fornication with Earth’s Kings Mean? (Revelation 18:3)

Babylon commits “fornication” (KJV) or “sexual immorality” (ESV) with earth’s Kings at Rev 17:2 & Rev 18:3.
This sexually impure relationship causes the “people” & “ all nations” on earth to be “intoxicated” or “drunk” and  go “mad” described at Rev 17:2,18:3, 14:8, Jer 51:7 & Nah 3:4.
